Irina discovered her passion for wine while working her first vintage in Bordeaux, an experience that ignited a lifelong love for the industry. After spending an additional year in France, she moved to New Zealand to pursue a Master’s degree, where she wrote her thesis on international wine sales.

Following her academic and professional experiences in New Zealand, Irina relocated permanently to Canada (after marrying a Canadian), where she continued to grow both her career and her wine education. She earned 3rd place in an Ontario-wide wine-tasting competition in a non-professional category and holds a Level 3 certification from the Independent Wine Education Guild (IWEG). She is currently working toward her Wine Appraisal certification to deepen her expertise in wine valuation.

Today, Irina manages all aspects of wine auctions, from pricing to lotting, and is known for her in-depth understanding of the wine market. She prides herself on delivering exceptional service to clients and enjoys celebrating the close of each auction with a well-earned glass of Champagne.
When she’s not immersed in the world of wine, Irina loves spending time with her family, including her dog, two cats, and a bearded dragon.
