Produced from vines planted in 1917 and 1937, the 2004 Pouilly-Fuisse Les Combes Vieilles Vignes Terroir de Pouilly bursts forth with aromas of white flowers, pears, and slate. This seamless wine is expansive, medium-bodied, packed with flavor, and long in the finish. It sports a harmonious, fresh herb, mineral liqueur, and apple-dominated core. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
IronGate.Wine is delighted to present the first tranche of a very fine Burgundian cellar from Toronto. It came to us from a fervent collector who took pride in his meticulously kept bottles and was always very acquainted with his investments in the region. His entire collection was professionally stored in Canada. While it is challenging to see his wines for sale, it is because he is relocating to Beaune permanently to live among the vines and terroir.
